Ask FlowMonkey · included with membership

The AI desk that cites its sources.

Every trading terminal has an AI now. Most of them answer from training data and agree with whatever you ask. This one calls live tools for every number it states — the dealer gamma book, today's options flow, the implied move, the graded record — and lists the engines behind each answer underneath it.

It reads the board you already have open, so “what is this showing me?” works without typing a ticker. It describes structure and never predicts price. And it is the only market assistant we know of that will tell you a popular pattern tested out to nothing — because the research behind it is graded against control groups, failures published.

What it can actually do
Reads your screen

Ask “what is this showing me?” on any board and it answers about that symbol, because the page tells it what you have open.

Live dealer positioning

The gamma book for any covered symbol: walls, flip, apex, net gamma, and the strikes carrying real size.

What the market is pricing

The options-implied move from the at-the-money straddle, including whether that expiry actually covers an earnings date.

The graded record

How every alert engine has performed over the last 30 days, as counts — fired, doubled, ran +50% — never as a promise.

Research with controls

Studies run against control groups, including the ones that failed. It will tell you when a famous pattern tests out to nothing.

Today's flow and rotation

Which sector the money is actually in, sized in premium, and what is moving right now.

Questions

What is Ask FlowMonkey?

It is an AI assistant built into the FlowMonkey options terminal. It answers questions using live tools rather than memory: the dealer gamma book for any symbol, the day's options flow, the options-implied move, the graded record of every alert engine, and a research library of studies run with control groups. Every answer lists the engines that produced it.

How is it different from a general AI chatbot?

A general chatbot answers from training data and cannot see your screen or today's market. Ask FlowMonkey calls live tools for every number it states, reads the board you currently have open, and refuses to answer when the data is not there. It cannot invent a level, because every level it quotes came back from a query in that conversation.

Will it tell me what to buy?

No. It describes measured structure — where dealer positioning sits, what the flow is paying for, what the market is pricing for an event — and names the level that would invalidate a read. It does not predict prices and it does not give advice. That constraint is built into the system, not a disclaimer bolted on afterwards.

Can it tell me when a trading strategy does not work?

Yes, and this is the unusual part. FlowMonkey grades its own research with control groups and publishes the failures. If you ask whether price gets pulled toward the biggest gamma node, the assistant will tell you that was tested across roughly 45,000 symbol-days and came back a coin flip against a distance-matched control. Most market AI agrees with the question it is asked.

What does it cost?

It is included with a FlowMonkey membership at $59 per month, with a 7-day free trial. There is no separate AI tier and no per-question charge.

Can it read the chart or map I have open?

Yes. The assistant floats on every page and receives the symbol and view you are currently looking at, so 'what is this showing me?' works without typing a ticker.
